The book consists of 10 thematically-based units on topics such as "All About Me", "All About My Friends", "My Room", and "Things We Like". Each unit starts with easy-to-follow examples of sentences and builds to students being asked to write a group of sentences on the theme. Guided Writing for Young Learners 2 and 3 follow the Guided Writing for Children 1.
