Black Cat Green Apple Readers
Black Cat Green Apple is a 3-level series (Starter, Step 1, Step 2) of richly illustrated graded readers recommended for teenagers. It offers a wide range of both classic and original stories in a variety of genres such as history, crime, mystery and horror, ghosts, human interest and more. Each title in the series integrates a story with activities in the four skills, as well as informative background information to provide students with an enjoyable and rewarding, all-in-one reading experience.
Key features of the series
Integrated activities Integrated activities:
The stories are divided into several chapters that are interspersed with a wide variety of stimulating activities that develop the four skills. These provide opportunities for students to check their understanding, practice grammar patterns and use new vocabulary. The format of many of the activities is similar to that found in the Cambridge ESOL Examinations (YLE Flyers; KET; PET) and provides useful additional practice for students preparing for these exams.
